Our Response To Covid-19

Reminder!

Our Mask Policy

Our Covid policies and procedures are subject to change based on state mandates and CDC recommendations.

Our Mask Policy

Michigan licensing for daycare centers are now requiring all staff members, volunteers, and visitors

Michigan licensing for daycare centers are now requiring all staff members, volunteers, and visitors to wear a mask inside the center.

  • The masks must be worn over the nose and mouth unless the person is eating or drinking.

  • The one and only exception that makes a staff member exempt from wearing a mask is a doctors note stating they medically cannot tolerate a mask.

  • The order also states all children 3+ must wear a mask in common areas, such as a hallway or a lunchroom. Because all children remain in their classroom throughout the day, we are not requiring any child to wear a mask inside the center.

The health and safety of our staff and students is and always has been our number one priority. We are very excited to announce the instillation of a new filtration system on our furnaces. Please read the

  • This system continuously protects and purifies the air and attacks contaminates.

  • It reduces particles that can irritate allergies and asthma, and destroys up to 99% of surface and airborne contaminates!

  • It has been tested and it has been proven to eliminate airborne SARS and Covid-19!

Temp Checks

Our Cleaning Routine

Furnace Filtration System

Temperature checks are conducted daily by our staff.

  • Upon arrival, each child is individually temped before being brought to their classroom. To eliminate the amount of foot traffic and possible exposure, each child and their belongings will be brought to their classroom by a staff member. If a child's temperature is above 100 degrees upon arrival, that child will not be allowed to stay. If the temperature is caused by teething, a doctors note must be provided.

  • Each staff member is responsible for taking their temperature and logging it into our staff binder. If staff has a temperature or is not feeling well, they're immediately sent home.

  • All guests are temp checked upon entry.

Our Cleaning Routine

Our Cleaning Routine

Our Cleaning Routine

Our staff has upped their cleaning schedules and sanitation methods by adding the following cleaning procedures:

  • Thoroughly wiping down the gates, door knobs, and other frequently touched surfaces in between parents picking up/dropping off and periodically throughout the day.

  • Incorporating hand washing more frequently throughout the day.

  • LTU has a cleaning lady who is now coming two times a week to deep clean the classrooms.

  • All plush toys (baby dolls, stuffed animals, etc.) have been taken out of the classrooms and replaced with easy to clean toys.

What We Ask From You

Our Cleaning Routine

Our Cleaning Routine

We ask a few things from all parents, volunteers, and guests who visit us.

  • Please wear a face mask upon entry.

  • If you're not feeling well and/or are running a fever, please call and let us know. We would be happy to reschedule your appointment for a later date.

  • We would ideally like to keep it down to two people per tour.  If you're planning on scheduling or have already scheduled a tour, please keep that in mind.
